Topic selection based on Quality Improvement (QI) in area of interest (to be approved by course faculty).
Must be a topic with extensive research data. Must be a QI project that has shown improvement in patient outcomes (Objective 6).
3. Grading Criteria: A. Research based paper (Minimum 3-pages paper excluding title page and reference page. APA format. References within 5 years)
a. Data that shows this is a current issue (Objective 3)
b. Must include data related to a specific culture, gender, race, age group etc. that is impacted by this issue (Objective 5)
c. Measures currently used to improve the issue (Objective 3)
d. Outcome data related to the measures (Objective 3)
e. Advantages and disadvantages of the measures (Objective 6)
