For each country, write a sentence or two explaining the timing of their demographic transition. What stage are they in, today? When did they begin and end their demographic transition?

Go to the PopulationPyramids.net website (https://www.populationpyramid.net/world/2016/). First, take a look at the world population pyramid.

Then, look up the population pyramids for your assigned countries( United States, Georgia, and Tanzania) for: 1990, 2000, 2019, and 2050 (projected). Cut and paste each of them into a single Microsoft Word document. (Using a screenshot/snipping tool may be easiest.)

1. For each country, write a sentence or two explaining the timing of their demographic transition. What stage are they in, today? When did they begin and end their demographic transition?

2. For each country, indicate one or two issues that you believe will present the biggest upcoming demographic challenges as the country moves ahead.
