1 Corinthians 11:16-19
If anyone is inclined to be contentious, we have no such practice, nor do the churches of God. But in the following instructions I do not commend you, because when you come together it is not for the better but for the worse. For, in the first place, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you. And I believe it in part, for there must be factions among you in order that those who are genuine among you may be recognized.

1 John 4:1
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

James 4:1
What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you?

Is your passion politics, ego, and power or truly God?

To what extent do we recognize one another as the church if so much dissension occurs over politics ?
Also, to what extent does the community recognize us as the church during the Trump Era?

Was the church called to build walls or bridges ?
