The use of Chicago style (NB) formatting is a requirement for all written assignments in this class. Please remember that part of this writing style is the inclusion of all forms of proper bibliographic documentation. Please also include a cover page with your submission and make sure to follow all other guidelines of this formatting style as it will be a factor in your grade. You can find more detailed specifications about Chicago style as well as a sample paper modeling the formatting at the following:

Some quick tips for writing your essays:

1. Check for spelling errors, grammatical errors, and typos! Proofread! ๐Ÿ™‚

2. Italicize the name of each work of art.

3. Do not confuse possessives, plurals, and contractions! "It's" is a contraction of "it" and "is"/"has". "Artists" is plural. "Artist's" means "belonging to an artist".

4. Remember to use Chicago!! (Do not forget your footnotes and in-text superscripts!)

5. Place your last name and a page number in the top right corner of every page! (Henry 5)
