How to Evaluate Sources

Your PowerPoint does not have to review everything addressed in the YouTube video but should be something that can be used to deliver an effective presentation on the importance of information literacy.

The presentation should include features that address at least 10 of the following PowerPoint objectives: (Note: Dont discuss these features; rather, your PowerPoint should actually utilize them. For example, you can meet the second point below by including headers and footers on your slides)

Change theme colors and fonts
Insert headers and footers to add identifying information
Insert, resize, and align a picture from a file
Apply and modify transition effects to add visual interest
Work with shapes, styles, effects, and colors
Work with icons and 3D models
Search for pictures and illustrations, modify picture appearance, and compress picture file size
Use tables to organize information in a grid format of columns and rows
Format a table by applying styles, colors, and effects
Show processes and relationships with SmartArt graphics
Create charts that show relationships between data values and emphasize data in different ways based on the chart type and chart elements
Applying Animation to add interest and reinforce content
