answer is. So there is a huge difference between hearing someone and listening to someone, point being, that when you hear someone/something you aren’t truly listening to the information being given. Now, if you are listening to someone you are acknowledging all of the information so when it comes to applying it to critical thinking it will lead to a better judgment.
